in this lesson i analysed two different music magazines each with a different house style and genres. this helped me to understand what the general style and layout of music magazines are and how to start thinking about my music magazine.

 in this lesson i analysed the front covers of existing college magazines in order to gain an insight into how magazines are designed in order to receive maximum interest for the magazine and helped to organize my college magazines front cover and how to use colours and font sizes to make certain areas stand out from other.

in this lesson i created a magazine for my college and learnt just how much work goes into placing various texts and the sizes of texts. It was also important that i took the picture of a student sitting in the new computer room so as to correspond with the subtitle 'tour of the new computer room'. This allowed me to gain an insight of what i shall have to do for my music magazine. 

                                                                             

 This is my college contents page. The colour scheme was taken from an existing college magazine and is very fitting to the rest of the colours on the page. The images are suitable for the genre as they were of student in the college. After analysing existing contents pages I majority of them did not mention each and the content of each and every page and only the few of them were actually mentioned which is the style that I have copied.
